This is part of
the sitting room off the Master suite right after I moved in.
You can see the partial wall blocking off the bedroom, the bad
fireplace facade of white porcelain tile, and you can see the beige
carpeting on the floor. You can also see that the fireplace
itself had not been set up with gas logs; and it had brass fixtures
on it which was just dated and ugly.

In the after
shots, you can see that the partial / half wall was torn
out, new carpeting was put in and the fireplace facade
and fireplace doors were overhauled with split face
Durango stone. I installed
gas logs that fire off with a remote control and hung a
large flat panel TV. I also had to streamline the
lines on the fireplace and get rid of the brass to make
it look more contemporary. |
