The first picture shows the new office door.  Original to the house, there was a door in the same spot, but it was short and white and solid - like other interior doors already in the house.  The previous homeowners moved the door to the left side and closed off this wall, making it a floor to ceiling height.  Unfortunately they did a bad job patching up the hole and you could see the outline of a door there at all times.  The reeded glass door I put in is reminiscent of the reeds in the wood front door and is equal in height.  It also lets new light into the living room.  Currently, the office is functional but I'm sure that eventually I'll build in some shelving.  I bought this desk because it hides all the computer hardware and wires and float it in the corner of the room.
