In the name of God

So many people throughout history have been persecuted and murdered over religion:

• In Northern Ireland, the Protestants, with their paramilitary terrorists, continue to fight against the Roman Catholics, with the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and kill each other over their religious differences. 

• During the Crusades, military campaigns were sanctioned by the Catholic Church and the Pope in their so-called 'holy war' to recapture Jerusalem from the Muslims.  They hacked up and beheaded thousands in the name of religion. 

• During the Inquisition the Catholic Church and the Pope (once again) sought to rid Europe of Jews, Protestants and Muslims.  It was either convert, be exiled, or be burned at the stake for heresy.

• 6 million Jews and 9 to 12 million homosexuals, African-Europeans, gypsies and mentally ill were murdered in German gas chambers as part of the Holocaust in order to 'purify' the country of non-Catholics/Christians and other undesirables.

• In Kashmir, Pakistani Muslims are warring against the India Hindus.  Also in Pakistan, Sunnis and Shite Muslims kill each other while Hindus slaughter Muslims, and Sikhs slaughter Hindus over their different religious beliefs.

• On September 11, 2001 extremist Muslims killed 3000 people in the World Trade Center as part of their 'Jihad' against the Satan of the West, America.

• Chinese Uyghurs are persecuted today by government legislation and must use a state-approved version of the Koran while Tibetan Buddhists are targeted for 'patriotic re-education' because the Chinese government has declared war on the Dalai Lama's 'separatist' ideological thinking.

• The Catholic Croatian puppet Ante Pavelic began extermination of Christian Serbs in Yugoslavia back in the 40's.  Both the Christian Serbs and the Catholic Croats also murdered Bosnian Muslims over religion. 

• And lest we forget, Christian Missionaries butchered the Aztecs, Incas and Mayans and destroyed their temples.

For most religions, if you don't worship the same God in the same way, you'll be forced one way or another.  So why is it that 'we the sheeple' still follow religious leaders and their idiotic views based on their twisted personal interpretation of an invisible man in the sky?  Why is it that we're a country run by a Christian president and conservative Christian Republicans who use their personal fears, hatred and bigotry to create legislation against, deny human rights for, and start misplaced wars against others?  Why do people still listen to the pope like he's a deity himself?  Wake up people!!!
